The Annual St Vincent de Paul Christmas Tree Event Returns to Blackrock College

Christmas is fast approaching, and so is the annual St Vincent de Paul Christmas Tree Event at Blackrock College.

We look forward to welcoming you back from the week of November 24 for this cherished tradition. Expect friendly faces, helpful service, and a touch of festive cheer as you choose your tree.

Your support directly benefits the ongoing work of the Blackrock College SVP Conference, which provides vital assistance to disadvantaged families and students.

Through its education bursary programme, run in partnership with Killinarden Community School and the St Catherine’s SVP Conference in West Tallaght, the Conference helps fund 25 third-level students from disadvantaged backgrounds as they pursue their studies and build brighter futures.

Members also volunteer in the SVP Visitation Programme, offering compassionate, practical support to families in need. Each year, 200 Christmas hampers are prepared by Transition Year students under the Dean’s guidance and delivered to families in West Tallaght by students, parents, and volunteers.

Every tree purchased helps make this work possible.
