The Blackrock College Business Lunch took place in O’Reilly Hall on Friday 24th November 2023. This was the first Lunch since 2019. It was attended by c.500 people with attendees from graduating classes from the 1960’s up to the 2010’s.

The event was widely regarded as a great success and included speeches from the President of the Union, Mr. David Gillett, the awardee of the Business Person of the Year – Ronan Dunne – and a panel discussion of past pupils who had recently retired from professional rugby – Ian Madigan, Andrew Conway and Jordi Murphy - which was expertly moderated by Ryle Nugent.

The Lunch also raised funds for the Union’s activities and charities.
