Shane Michael Buggle, class of 1979 has been awarded a Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
The award ceremony was on the 14th of December 2021.
Shane was awarded a B.Comm from UCD in 1982 and subsequently a Dip. Prof. Acct in 1983.
Shane has been working in the Banking Sector in Australia for the past 34 years, mainly at ANZ Bank.
He is married with three sons, all of whom are at University ages, Declan, Rory and Niall. The lucky Mrs. Buggle is Rosemary nee Callanan, a Melbourne native.
