On Saturday, 4th July, past pupils across the world will once again come together for Blackrock College Union’s Rock Around the World — a global day of activity, friendship, and fundraising.
There are no rules on how you take part. Walk, run, cycle, golf, canoe, climb, throw a wellie, or simply gather with fellow Rock men, friends, and family in your local area. Whether at home or abroad, it’s a brilliant opportunity to reconnect, catch up, and support worthwhile causes together.
Funds raised help support the work of the Past Pupils Union and fellow alumni in meaningful ways.
Getting involved is simple. Choose your activity, complete it anytime leading up to or on Saturday, 4th July, and donate via the link or QR code below. We’d also love you to share photos or short videos on social media tagging @rockunion1898 or send them to unionoffice@rock.ie.

Blue & White Support Group
The Blue and White Support Group continues to strive to reach out to Rock men going through a difficult period in their lives by providing support, guidance, and friendship. The needs of those seeking assistance ranges from moral support to practical support and from financial planning to financial assistance. Sometimes a non-judgmental conversation is enough to see the trees from the wood! To make contact with the Blue and White Support group please contact the office confidentially at unionoffice@rock.ie and we will arrange for you to be called back by a member of the support group.
The Mission Fund
The Mission Fund was established by the Union to provide financial support to the Spiritans' missionary work. The Spiritans (Holy Ghost Fathers) provide direct assistance to the world's poorest regions, where the level of poverty and living conditions is often unimaginable. Although our financial assistance will never compare to the sacrifice of the Spiritans, who have dedicated their lives to such work, it does nonetheless make a very real impact as all money raised goes directly to specific cases or projects. Monies received are applied mainly to educational projects in African missions and other regions.
