What a great morning!
It was fantastic to see so many people out bright and early for the Sunrise Walk and to see the Blackrock community coming together.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, including members of the Union, parents, the BCRFC, the Union Junior Committee, Yvonne Markey and her team of teachers and the school’s senior management, as well as all the past pupils, students, families and friends who came along.
It was a wonderful way to start the day, with great company, plenty of conversation and a real sense of community.
The Sunrise Walk is part of the Union’s wider focus on mental health and wellbeing, and mornings like this show just how important connection and looking out for one another can be.
Thanks again to everyone who helped make it happen and, most importantly, to everyone who got out of bed early and came along!
Here’s to the next one.
