Brian O’Reilly, Ballinamore (late of Mount Merrion), in University Hospital Galway. Sadly missed by his brother Des (Past President 2000-1), sisters Joan and Noeleen, nieces Jennifer, Laura, Sarah, nephews Jason and Andrew (2001), relatives and a wide circle of friends. Brian was the captain of the Blackrock College Golf Team, which won the All-Ireland Schools Golf Championship in 1977. Following a catering career in the US, he returned to take up a position in Ballinamore, County Leitrim, where he became a highly respected member of the community. Brian will live on in our memories forever, on the golf course, around dinner tables, in old stories retold among friends, and in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
