John Broderick Class of 1965

The Union is saddened to learn of the loss of John Broderick

The death has occurred of John Broderick Highfield, Ballinderry, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Blackrock, Co. Dublin. December 28th, 2025, peacefully in the company of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

John will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, beloved wife Elizabeth, adored daughters Claire, Natalie and Sarah, cherished granddaughter Éabha, brothers David and Brian, sister Miriam, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and former colleagues in the Department of Agriculture.
