Des passed away peacefully and comfortably on 10th June 2024 at 74 years of age, having spent several weeks in the wonderful care of the staff of the CCU wards at Wexford General and Waterford University Hospitals respectively.
Des is predeceased by his parents Noel and Evie. Des will be forever loved and never forgotten by his wife and best friend Christina, his adoring children Robin and Donie, their partners Cyrille and Carla, his sisters Annette, Evelyn and Francis, his brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family members and wide circle of good pals and neighbours. Perhaps most importantly to Des, he will be hugely missed by his 5 grandchildren George (11), Marcel (7), Henri (7), Alfie (6) and baby Benji who referred to him as Dang Dang or Pappy Des.
