The Union is saddened to learn of the loss of Brian O'Doherty

Brian O’Doherty who in the early 1960s left his Irish medical career behind to reinvent himself as a leading figure in the New York art scene, both as a critic and as a creator, has died at his home in Manhattan. He was 94. Brian featured in the College sesquicentenary art catalogue.
