The Union was saddened to learn of the loss of Fr Brendan O'Brien C.S.Sp (1942)

Fr Brendan O'Brien C.S.Sp (1942) died on 17 th June 2021 in his 97th year in Kimmage Manor and was late of Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare. He was a missionary in Ireland and Kenya. Son of the late Agnes (née O’Flaherty) and Pat O’Brien. Predeceased by his brother Canon Paddy (PP Tuamgraney) and his sisters Cal (McCarthy), Úna and Aureen. Deeply regretted by his niece Maeve and nephews Brendan, Ciarán and Declan (Mc Carthy), his grand-nieces Fiona, Ciara and Eimear, his grand-nephew Cillian, extended family, Spiritan confrères and friends.

May he rest in peace.

In accordance with current Government guidance a private Funeral Mass will take place at 11.30am on Monday (June 21st) followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.
