20th Willow Wheelers 100m Cycle

President starts the 20th Willow Wheelers 100 mile cycle

 

On Sunday Eugene Harrington was the official starter of the 20th Willow Wheelers 100 mile Cycle.

The Willow Wheelers have raised over a 1 Million €uros since they started the cycle 20 years ago.

President Eugene Harrington congratulated Willow Park and Wheelers legend Christy McDaid and as a show of solidarity went on to cycle the 100 miles.

Fr. Pat Clarke from Sao Paolo (see Blog http://www.rockunion.ie/individual-blog.php?blog_id+79)

 finished the last 15 miles of the cycle crossing the finishing line with Eugene and 3 six year students.

Another great day in the history of Ireland’s biggest cycling club.
