2009 President's Prize - Golf Society

 The weather on the day was excellent as usual, as have been all our outings for the past 6/7 years. A very good turnout on the day of 106  players some of whom were last minute entries because of the weather. Good scoring too with 3 scores of 40pts with Gary Trueick (19 Handicap) winning on the back nine (23pts) from Mark Underwood (8) and
Paul Sherry (19) . A previous winner Morgan Crowe won the gross with a level par round.

The most eagerly contested prize is the year with 1981 successful on this occasion. Most of the participants dined , a total of 77.

Next years Captain of the society is Ben Underwood and his prize will be held in Elm Park on Friday 21 May next year.
