The Graduation Ball for the class of 2008 took place on Saturday 25th October and spirits refused to be dampened by the inclimant weather. Over 500 people attended what proved to be an unforgettable night and a fantastic way for the class of 2008 to say a final farewell to their school days. As ever the Ball itself was preceeded by a drinks reception in the College which was attended by the graduating Rockmen, their partners and parents as well as members of the College Community, teaching staff and Past Pupils Union.
From the school, attendees made their way to the Pavillion at Leopardstown where the Ball itself took place. A wonderful meal was served which was followed by dancing and a dj until the early hours! A hugely enjoyable time was had by all and the presentation of a cheque for 1500 to the Holy Ghost Mission Fund by Matthew Norman and Jack Kelly from the class of 2008 to Eugene Harrington, President of the Past Pupils Union made the night all the more worthwhile.
Many thanks to all involved in the organisation of the event and in particular the Junior Committee of the Union whose hard work ensured a hugely successful event."
