A key benefit of offering online advertising to past pupils is that we, as a Union feel that in the past we have not tapped into the business community that Blackrock College Alumni operate in and given past pupils the opportunity to take advantage of the goodwill that we have towards each other in supporting our own business community.

As a Union we need funds to operate and support our current charities but also look to find ways of improving the financial footing which the PPU operates on. For too long we have focused on asking individuals to support the Union and as if often the case, it is normally the same group that gets asked to fund the Union on an annual basis.

By selling advertising space on the Union website we are now looking for companies, through their marketing budget, to support the Union by buying advertising space, rather than simply sponsoring the Union out of an altruistic feeling towards the Union and Blackrock College.

Advertising on the Union website allows you and other advertisers to promote your business and/or service, not only to fellow Rock men but also to anyone logging onto www.rockunion.ie

We have a monthly EZine which is emailed to over 3000 past pupils and this along with promoting the Advertisers Section at each Union event will help raise the awareness of the Union website and drive people to log on and check out whose advertising and what they do.

What are the costs of advertising on www.rockunion.ie?

There are two options for you and your company to choose from

Option 1: Commit to 1 Years advertising at a cost of 600euro

OR

Option 2: Commit to 3 Years advertising at a cost of 500euro per annum. You can choose to either set up a standing order and we will call the 500euro once per annum or pay for the 3 years in advance.
